im a new mac user.
Does anyone know how to make a bootable OS X CD (10.2.3)? i try to search for it at versiontracker.com but I dont know which one to download.

I don't know if you can. Sometimes Apple's system software CDs are made so that only the original Apple-made CD can be used to start up the computer. If you try to "make" a CD with Mac OS X on there, I'm not sure if that would work. Then again, I'm not expert on system software CDs, so if you already know that it will work, then I can't really say anything else, since I don't actually have an answer for your question :rolleyes: .

I think its called bootx you can get it on versiontracker... but I have had only limmited luck with it
