If you're asking for pirated software, the answer is that we do not discuss that here.

OMG, I just downloaded this game for the first time ever...and...it's JUST like Canon Battle for like System 7! I used to play that game all the time, this is like the extreme version. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

That was fun!

Unfortunately its a weak version of a game I played oh-so many years ago. About 96-97 I think. Same kind of thing only players were situated on mini planets, with gravity and that. It was amazing. Infact they stole a few weapons from that game. Pinapple and Jackhammer are ripped. But ho hum. I'll probably never remember the name of that game, RIP, whatever you were.

At the link (http://www.ct*******.com/ptanks.htm) posted earlier by ChrisFromCanada of where to buy the delux version of the game you can also download a shareware version there.

You can use the free StuffIt Expander (http://www.stuffit.com/mac/expander/index.html) to open .sit files.

Yes!! I too had it for DOS (but it was actually called Scorched Earth). Still, an all-time classic.

Uhh...I'd like to emulate like Windows 95 to play Scorched Earth. Any idea how to do that without breaking the bank on my Mac. In fact there are several Pentium 100 Mhz era games I'd like to relive too.

Yes, I have a copy of Windows 95 laying around. Kekeke...

Actually, no matter what I said about it before I did find myself playing it during lectures today :D if this thing supported Bonjour then I'd cry.

Hmm are you getting an error of any kind? I downloaded that DX ball real quick and Stuffit opened that .sit file for me fine without a problem. Is the downloaded .sit file the right size that it should be? Maybe it didn't completely download?(in which case it can't be unarchived).

it says something about the file not being compressed or encoded. and that I should find mroe about the file (like what program was used to make it etc)....and it doesn't give me any options to click besides "ok" and then stuff it closes:confused:
