View Full Version : WTB: Mac Mini 1.5Ghz or 1.42Ghz model, with a Superdrive

I'm looking to buy a Dell 2005FPW, or another LCD that's at least 19" or so (preferably widescreen) of good quality. I'm not looking to spend too much, but I will entertain and consider any offer, so please go ahead and make 'em if you got 'em!

Also, a note. I'm expecting a refund from Apple within the next week, and will be able to make a payment as soon as they have initiated that. I would prefer to be able to pay through PayPal, and if it's local (Chicago) - so much the better. Please list any references you may have, as well.

Edit: I have found a monitor, so I don't need that anymore. Still looking for a Mini, though!

I have the 2005FPW and it's awesome screen. On www.gotapex.com , you can find the lowest price Dell has for it, which is around $425-450. The nice thing about the widescreen is that you can do Picture-in-Picture or Picture-by-Picture and it has TV (S-video and RCA), VGA and DVI inputs.

Yeah, I used to have one that I actually got from this forum for $375 shipped, but I sold it when I got my iMac. It is a great screen, and I'd like to get another one, or at least one like it. Anyone got one to sell?

Just wanted to point out that I added a Mini to the list of things I was looking for. I'm looking for one with a Superdrive, though DL doesn't really matter to me.

Hey, I found a monitor, so I no longer need that. But I am still looking for a well-priced Mac Mini.

I want either a 1.5Ghz or 1.42Ghz model, with a Superdrive. I can upgrade and get RAM and whatnot separately, so that's not a huge problem. Please let me know what you've got!

What're you looking to pay for it?
