Really ? I know 4 sure I wasnt the only one that Creative smuckered into buying one, especially when they had their Macworld "special" @30% off.

But most people probably just chucked them into the trash when they found out it was a dead product :)

if only I could get my hands around someone's neck @creative........

Nope, not from me anyway :)
for this, you would need:

A) video card with an S-Video OUT port, and an S-video cable. Not sure if the mini has that port or not, but the cable itself can be found at almost any electronics/discount store

OR

B) a TV with a DVI-in port and the corresponding cable

OR

one of the USB/Firewire based converter boxes, like those from Elgato
