So it seems that there are a lot of iBooks up for sale right now, but I guess I will still go ahead and post this.
Specs:
12" screen
800 mhz g3
640 mb RAM
airport
combo drive
DEAD HD
I do not remember there being any dead pixels on the screen, and I still have the original battery and power cord. If you don't mind waiting until I get back to Memphis (at the end of the month), I can include the original box and CDs (though I may have the cds here - I will have to check when I get off work). Battery holds a nice charge of 3-4+ hrs depending on screen brightness and usage. If it turns out that I do not have the CDs here, I can ship them seperately at no extra cost.
This (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=185045) thread is for a similarly specced iBook. It is a bit slower, but has a working HD. Consensus there is that $400 + shipping would be a fair price for that computer, so I would like to propose a price of $400 shipped for mine. After some looking, I found that HDs for this computer can be had for around $60, and you can either install it yourself or have someone else do it (I asked around, and it seemed that $50 can get an installation on that computer - at least in the Knoxvile area). That would mean that you were getting 300 mhz for about $100 less the cost of shipping the other computer. Better deal than what Apple offers (ha)!
Anyway, feel free to contact me either here, through PM, or on AIM about making a deal or with your offers or whatever. I sold a dual 1ghz Quicksilver on here a while back, and just sold my copy of World of Warcraft (with a free gift of my account info), so there are at least two people who could potentially vouch for me.
Thanks for looking!
Edit: spelling
