Just want a portable. No processor-envy here.
The machine is a base config dual-867 purchased in August. It has been upgraded to 512MB ram total. Please email me at mdwells@shawnospam.ca with offers (remove "nospam" from the address before mailing, of course).
I would be interested in a trade on a titanium powerbook as well. I will consider powerbooks from 500mhz up and reply to all reasonable offers. I don't expect an even trade on a powerbook, so please let me know what you think the balance should be on such a trade.
Thanks for your time.

You failed to spell out the total system specs on your dual system.
Please expand on this :)

As I said in my original post this is a base configuration MDD dual 867 Powermac, with the exception of an upgrade to 512MB ram.

I sold my dual 867 on ebay with 768 ram, base otherwise, for 1100 around 2 months ago.. and that was a good deal for me then. I'd say a dual 867 is worth around 900 today.. maybe 950.
I'd not sell for 800. ;-)
Put it on ebay man, people pay stupid amounts of money. It's still the current enclosure.

yer out of yer minds!
A local shop will give me more than that on trade for a new system!
Just realized I will likely get American offers only on this forum, so you can consider the machine sold.

does the '17' refer to your age, your weekly allowance, or your IQ?

yeah, I've got the same computer, and retail it cost 1700+ bucks less than a month ago. I'd say it's still a better computer than the base powermac being offered right now. I'd say it's still worth 1200 at least

Just wanted to add that I didn't mean that I have anything against americans, it's just that cross-border transactions are too risky.
Thanks for your interest.

Cross border transactions invole customs also.
I guess it would've helped if you had said what country you are in.
And people have to remember that dollars come in several varieties. At the very least:
US (Possibly the default currency on MacRumors)
Canadian
Australian
New Zealand

Yah, should've mentioned I was in Canada before. And I was assuming offers were being made in american dollars. worth roughly 1.55 CAD.

I knew you were from Canada right away. Look at the e-mail address in the first message...it ends with .ca
Come on people, pay attention to posts.

You have to be kidding me. We had one up until a week ago my cost was $1349 on it. Now they are gone, but that system is worth about 1200 bucks as it sits.
