I picked this up to use as a media center, but realized an Intel mini is more for me. This machine is great if you run apps that aren't Universal binaries since it has the "silent upgrades" and the 5400RPM hard drive. I've only had it about a week, so it should have full AppleCare. Here are the specs:
-G4 1.5GHz Processor
-512MB RAM
-80GB 5400RPM Hard Drive
-Combo Drive
-Airport/Bluetooth Installed
-64MB VRAM
Looking for $475 shipped.
PM me if you are interested.

Does it have a combo or super drive?

Combo. Sorry, I thought I included that in the title. I'll edit my post to reflect the full specs.

What's the problem with UB's? I thought UB's contained native code for both Intel and PowerPC?

Hi
Correct but what he's saying is that those who use non-UB apps will have a better experience with this mini than an Intel based one. Rosetta takes away about 50% of the performance of a PowerPC only app on comparable systems.
For example, if you use DVD rippers that aren't UB yet, than you'll be a bit disappointed, if you use Photoshop more than very occasionally, ...

because this is a "silent upgrade" mini, i'm having trouble finding the type of RAM that this takes. Is it the same as the 1.42 mini? (184 pin, 2700, 333 mhz DDR RAM)

The G4 minis ships with a single PC3200 DDR DIMM. A 1GB DIMM can be had for under $70 if you find a sale. Check out dealram.com
