As some of you know I am stuck with almost 500 DashMini's, and it seems no one is really interested. Therefore, I am offering these to fellow MR, I am asking $15 per unit, I can go cheaper if you want a ton (I doubt that would happen  ) Anyways, I am open to offers, I prefure money, since I am currently broke but I suppose if the trade is right, then I think I can make a deal :D. The images below will give you an idea how awesome these really are, I can be more descriptive but I think the pictures speak for themselves, and also a special thanks to LimeiBook86 for the top drawing, such a skilled Mac User :D.

Like I said make offers, and/or advise of people interest.
Also the normal price of this is $32.99 so its a deal ;)

Hello m2uk,
The total wight is 1.70lbs, in a 12x8x6 Box, I do not charge packing costs, however I use new and high grade packing to keep the items safe durring the rough shipping the post office does  :D .
What is the packaged weight of one of these ?
Thank you for your interest!

Out of curiosity, if I inverted one of these and put something along the lines of grip tape on it could I use it as a iCurve-ish device?

can you fit a mini + ministack or minimate with one of these?
and how sturdy is it? in one of the pics, you have a crt on top of the minidash... a little worrisome for me.

I know of some one who used the Mac Mini with a Belkin Slim Mac Mini USB Hub, but I don't know about the MiniStack, I made it with extra room but I can't make it down to the floor
:D And the DashMini is very durrable, I ran one over with my car (Full Size Buick) so don't worry about that. I do have a movie HERE (http://www.maceffects.net/old/omaceffects/movie.html) to show what I mean. As long as you mount this correctly it will support a Monitor and such.

I'd say YES, I use mine for my PowerBook G4 12" as an iCurve like device, like in the picture.
And to be honest I think that is why its so hard to market it does so much and its so good that people don't get it

can you give me the dimensions of the "top" surface - the part that a monitor would be resting on like in the pb pic. i know its roughly the size of a mac mini but if you have the dimensions on hand, that'd be useful for me to know.
thanks!

Hello,
It is 7x6 1/2 Inches on the top surface. Hope this helps.

I have a question for you, does this have some type of piece running along the backside so a Mini can't fall out the back if mounted under a desk? I wasn't sure by the one picture if it had something, could you post a picture of the back as well?

I don't think there is anything in the back. If there were, how would you plug anything in? I can tell you, though, whatever the bottom of my mini is made of keeps it from moving around too much unless I want it to move (and having it not able to move laterally would make it even harder to accidentally knock it back).

easy way to address this if maceffects makes more would be to add a lip to either the bottom or top of the "back".
but yeah, the mac mini doesn't roam around too much, but its a valid concern.

Thanks for the advice, I will look into 123MacMini.com. And yes the Mac Mini stays where its put just fine with the rubber bottom, I have thought about this and adding the piece in the back, but it would far limit the thing this can be used for and also for adding a hub... Another concern that came up was the Mac Mini Heating up, and no worries, this has been made with that in mind i can tell you after tested there is not a problem with the Mac Mini Over Heating.

I assume these are made of a thick, flexible plastic? What does the surface feel like? Is it glossy like an iPod, Apple mouse, etc?

I sent payment for the two DashMini's via paypal. Please let me know when you ship them out. I don't even have a mini but I like the design of these things. I am gonna use it to prop up my iBook and put a FW hard drive under it! Thanks again!

Wow thanks kingjr3, I didn't even notice! I'm a total klutz when it comes to spelling so this sort of thing is to be expected :o But, here's the updated fixed image, this way MacEffects can download it and upload the fixed version wherever he needs to :D
Thanks again! :)

Would you be interested in a gift card to either Barnes and Noble or Borders Books (usable on Amazon.com) for a trade? I have 100% eBay feedback under "robandstuff" and have made many trades and purchases here, for references.
Thanks!

MacEffects sent me a DashMini, this was a very pleasant surprise. So I thought of what I could use it for since I don't have a Mac Mini. Then I saw my GameCube!! It fits nicely and can hold up to 5 DVD/Game cases under it. The GameCube may slip a bit but, putting a rubber pad or an old mouse pad under it works just fine. I took some photos and I had a lot of free time so I made a little transition animation, nothing much, just pretty looking.
Flash animation format:

Animated Gif format (yuk the colors! )

These things are pretty cool, and I'm happy I found a cool use for it. :D
Thanks again MacEffects!

Velcro (Not provided) or Screws work best but I suppose glue might work:rolleyes:

Wow, I had no idea, (I am thinking I should try to fit my Atari 2600 in there)  ... Hmm, while very interesting (Since there are more and more uses then I ever thought) I think since I can't even sell it for what it is adding yet another use might be hard ;) :o But I like the idea, if I had one I suppose I would use with a Game Cube. And, don't thank me I ought to thank you ;) While I maybe skilled in business/marketing (Didn't say it would help sell the DashMini) and programming (Well Macs too) you are the most creative/artistic Mac guy I know and I think that beats anything I could do.
Oh yeah, enjoy the Vintage Mac stuff :D (Isn't it amazing how much stuff can fit into the little box) :p :D
Also make sure you add screw holes to that one picture :)
