I bought this awhile ago when I bought my PowerBook (August 2005). Its just an extra battery. I found that I never really used it because the 3 hours was always enough. It was probably charged no more then 10 times. And yes it is a REAL Apple branded battery, not some cheap 3rd party junk.

Make an offer :)

Ooh, I'm very interested. I just have to wait until my PowerBook gets here (hopefully this week) to get back to you.

Wow....

How old would this iMac be? What kind of PowerMac? G5? :D

How long ago did you buy it? What charge does it hold now? If it holds a full charge I'd be willing to pay $50 plus shipping, but that would depend on how much shipping to the UK would be - if you'd be willing to ship outside the US.

I bought it just after I bought my PowerBook. Maybe around November? I can't remember exactly when, unless you really want me to dig up my old credit card bills....

You can expect the same amount as you would expect from an "almost new" battery. Im able to make it give me about 3+ hours on "Better Energy Savings" setting.

Unfortunately I paid the retail price for this at the Apple Store. I was hoping a little more than simply 50 bucks. Im hoping to atleast be able to buy an Xbox Game with the money I get back. If this won't be the case I guess I wont sell.

Well, with my price you can buy two used Xbox games. :p

I revoke my offer; I'd rather not see my money invested in Microcrap.

*Seriously though, the battery dropped to $100 right after you bought it. I just halfed that since it's used (however little). You'd get more money locally; those batteries are painfully overpriced ... especially when there isn't a cheap external charger.

Microcrap.

Cute...

Grow up :P

I guess Ill just cancel this sell then. Id rather keep it if it actually depreciated that much. And here I thought Apple products were able to retain their value better than other computer manufacterers. :(

You're the one playing games ... :p

:D

The computers and iPods hold high value (my PowerBook model has only lost $100 in the past year in the used market); normal accessories (batteries, mice, keyboards) don't hold value as well. Monitors, Aiports, iPod acces., etc. tend to hold their value more a bit better.

I refuse to own an Xbox (im even reluctant to play them); i do own a GameCude for all my childish needs. :)
