Doesn't seem like there will be an event on 3/28...

Like many, I'm hoping for a media event to announce new MacBooks soon. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Tuesday, 3/28 will be that day.

For last month's fun event (intel minis & hifi), word of invites appeared 7 days prior to the event. With that in mind, I was hoping we'd see news of an invite appear today, but (so far) it hasn't happened yet.

I doubt they'd do anything late in the week or shedule an event on short notice, so here's hoping for something around 4/4 (announced via invites early next week)? Hopefully I'm wrong and something will come sooner...

Apple should be careful about having too many special events.. especially after the last one.

I agree about hyping - Don't mean to do so.

I'm just acting on the assumption that if they felt that intel minis were worthy of an event, then intel ibooks would as well.

Plus I'm looking to buy a laptop soon, so I'm a little bit ansy! :)

There's going to be something March 28th because Apple Corp. VS Apple goes to trial March 27th..

Unless there has been a settlement and we don't know about it.;)
