Well guys, I've decided I'm switching back to the "dark side" and probably buying a Dell XPS. (Dell has a good warranty and I don't want the hassle of building my own) I love the stability of OS X, but I've used Windows my whole life practically and I actually miss it. (no flame wars, please)

Anyway, I've only had this Power Mac since January and it's been a great machine. I haven't had any problems, other than the fact that sometimes it wakes itself up from sleep. (has happened about 3-4 times since getting it in January)

The specs are as follows:

Power Mac G4 (Mirrored Drive Doors 2002)
--Dual 867MHz G4
--2 GB RAM (upgraded it from 512 with OWC RAM)
--60GB HD (I'm assuming this HD is stock)
--nVidia GeForce 4 MX 32MB
--SuperDrive (Pioneer DVR-110D - It's 16X DL, but I haven't tried the DL feature yet, but I have burned probably 10 normal DVD's with no problems)
--Original Box
--Software Restore Discs
--OS X 10.4 Tiger Disc (can include the box if you want it)
--Apple Pro keyboard and Mouse (Graphite)

The Power Mac is in great shape for it's age. It does have some scatches and stuff, but I was amazed by the condition of it when I bought it.

Also have a 17" Apple Studio Display LCD (ADC)

The display flickers for about 5-10 seconds after you turn it on, then is fine after that. I don't see any dead pixels or anything wrong appearance-wise. I also have the original box for the display.

I don't think I'm forgetting anything. If you have any questions, just ask. I'd prefer you just ask in this thread, rather than PM'ing me. (I have e-mail notification turned on)

Not sure how much to ask for this, so just make some offers. My eBay name is: MetallicaDTFan01 if you wanna see some feedback. I've also had a couple successful transactions on here.

I will attach a pic of the setup when I first got it and if you want more pics, I will gladly take some.

Thanks, guys!

Sorry it did not work out, I think you have one of the finer Apples too. Am sure someone wil scoop it up.

A hint on the 'wake from sleep' it has been known that the power button on the Apple Cinemas' (Lucent versions) can sometimes cause this. Under the display preferences / options you can turn off this button... which will probably solve this issue. IE its the Monitor's fault for telling the PM to wake up.

Yeah man, I love Macs, I really do, but I just prefer the way Windows works to OS X. (Windows Explorer, the start menu, task bar, etc.) I will probably still stick around MacRumors and maybe even get another Mac sometime in the future. I traded my ThinkPad for the TiBook in my sig, (The ThinkPad had issues) so that I could use it while selling the Power Mac and waiting on the Dell. Expect the TiBook up for sale sometime soon, too.

I actually have the button on the display turned off in System Preferences. When I first got the Power Mac, I accidently hit it and put the computer to sleep, so I turned it off.

Do you have any idea how much you're hoping to get for this thing? And are you open to the idea of splitting up the computer and monitor?

I am definitely willing to split them up.

Just make me an offer. I used a site the other day (no clue what the URL is) to check the value and it listed it at like $880 without the display. I paid, I believe, $705 for it shipped without the 2GB of RAM and DVDRW drive. (It just had a Combo Drive when I bought it)

I found the site I was talking about and I've attached a screenshot of the value it gave me.

I'm not saying it should sell for this price, but I'd expect relatively close to this. Keep in mind, this is without the display.

Was it $705 with or without display?

I'd much rather sell this here than on eBay, so I've finally decided some prices. These are negotiable, of course.

How about $750 shipped for the Power Mac and $200 shipped for the display?

I only accept PayPal, by the way.
