This second link is more interesting - one of the quotes is "Intel says Vista can't arrive soon enough as far as it is concerned" - obviously they're p*ssed that PC sales will be down in the crucial pre-Christmas frenzy - perhaps it's time they realised they've backed the wrong horse and now they have a vested interest they should be pushing the Macintosh as hard and as loudly as possible?

Apple and Intel together need to blitz the seasonal advertising big time - and I mean create a veritable tidal wave of Mac adverts to take advantage of Microsoft's dropped b*llock - this is now open season for Apple to really seize the day. Disenchantment in Windows will be at an all time high. None of this smoke and mirrors intimation that we're used to seeing Apple push out, I mean real, gloves-off, HERE IS MAC AND IT'S F'KING GREAT! adverts the product really deserves.

I'll put money on it not happening but I'd gladly lose it to be proved wrong.
