FOR SALE: Raden 9800 pro & GeForce 6800

i have for sale an authentic Mac Radeon 9800 pro (not a flashed one). i bought this card brand new for my Dual 533mhz G4 a while back... i now have a quad g5 with pci-express slots so this card is useless to me.

I also have a NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra DDL 256mb I pulled from a Dual 2.7 ghz G5.

This may be a little impertinent, but what happened to the rest of the dual 2.7?

the rest of the dual 2.7 G5 is still in use (main studio computer).

we had to get rid of the 6800 nvidia because it occupied one pci slot with its massive heatsink (we needed 3 slots for ProTools HD cards). got a radeon 9600 PC/Mac edition instead and it powers our 30" cinema display quite nicely without taking up the extra slot.

Ah, I see. The GeForce 6800GT in my G4 only takes up one slot (as does the Apple version which supports one 30"), but unless you're doing games or Motion you probably don't need the extra power. The new 9600 PC/Mac is nice and cheap for a card that can run a 30".
