If anyone is looking for an eMac, I'm selling mine on ebay. I want to sell this one, so I can upgrade. This is really a great Apple computer! I really like the 17"flat screen. I added extra ram for a total of 384mb. If interested check it out at:

nothing against going for the high price on ebay, and i hope you get it, but i've seen emacs on offer locally (mpls) for around $699 refurbished... i even think you can get 'em through the applestore for $799 now (or something).
anyhow hope you get your price.. i've got a powerbook g3 (lombard) i'm thinking i want to get rid of and the prices on ebay are way low at the moment.. damn those g4s....
best,

lol, in the pic and text it almost looks as if you're trying to cover up the fact its a flat CRT.
Ye might want to change that incase some bidder wins, then gives you bad feedback for not delivering all claims

That auction is ************.
Could you make it sound any more like a flat panel?
17" FLAT SCREEN!!
Plus that very misleading picture.
And the kicker:
THERE ARE NO DEAD PIXELS!
How many CRTs have bad pixels I ask you?
Your auction is ************, and no one is going to pay 1100 dollars for a damn eMac.
You're not only a cheat, but a delusional one as well who is spamming our forums.
Please don't post here anymore.

this forum is to announce things for sale, which I'm doing.
I can't believe you people are so mean! I'm not trying to deceive anyone. Does an emac have a flat screen or not? Yes. Anybody who is shopping for an emac knows it is an all-in-one system and it is not a flat monitor.
Yes the "buy it now" is kind of high, but I don't expect anyone to bid that. If you look closely the auction started at just $99 with NO RESERVE PRICE!
So just relax people.

In foofan's defense, the side profile photo blatantly shows it is NOT a flat panel and in fact a huge CRT. Any idiot that thinks it is 3 inches thick after looking at the photos is blind. But there *are* people that would read the description thinking it is a flat panel, totally ignore the photos, and raise hell after they receive it
In any case, he does have a point when he says he is merely advertising his eMac that is for sale. But you did creatively word it to potentially deceive buyers (c'mon, dead pixels?? )
Oh, I see. It appears he added the three photos (including the side profile) after he read the responses above...in that case, the creative camera shots in the original auction posting did look to deceive...looks like a panel to an unsuspecting buyer
BAH! What do I care? Back to drinking my coffee....
