I was going to just list it here, but decided to go eBay. Thought I'd let you guys know just in case someone here needs one.

**edit**
This is a Linksys Cable Modem, model BEFCMU10. I used this for about 10 months and then I switched to DSL so I have no use for it anymore. It works great, I even used it when I had my webserver setup! Easy to use, includes modem, AC adapter, installation CD, USB cable and ethernet cable.

Please post a description of your item.

Post full description(s) of the item(s). Even if you post a link to ebay or other sale/trade/auction site, you must include the description in your Marketplace thread so that potential buyers/traders can evaluate what you are offering by what you post in the forums. The MacRumors Marketplace is not to be used simply for advertising your sales or offers elsewhere.

The only problem is with some cable modems or cable companies they restrict the modems you can use on another service. I mean it should work fine but, my cable company (Cablevision) gave me a hard time when I switched modems, and I bought it new! I had to call up and verify the MAC address and describe the model. They may let you use it or, they may only let you use a certain make or model.

That's still a small chance though, and I'm sure if you make enough fuss about it they'll let you use it. Good luck ;) :D

I used it for 10 months with no problems from adelphia. I had it running 3 computers on a network, plus my webserver which did my website and ftp serving.
