I have a used Xbox I don't need. I bought it from a kid who needed money and was getting deported to England. It came with 3 regular controllers. One has the word "Thorn" scratched into it. It also came with a Logitech wireless controller that works great! Video cable and power cable are included. Three copies of Halo, one Halo2, Ghost Recon, Unreal Championship, GTA San Andreas. DVD Remote and remote sensor.
This is a pretty thorough system. The only problem is the drive on the Xbox. I still play games on it a lot, but it has a tendency to balk at loading the games initially, saying they are scratched and can't load. GTA freezes up during the game sometimes. I think that either the lens needs to be cleaned or the drive needs to be replaced. The problem isn't horrible. I still play a lot, but sometimes getting GTA to work can be frustrating.
What kind of price can I expect to get for this setup?
If I can recoup most of what I paid for it (i got a good deal) then I'll probably sell it here or on ebay in May sometime so I can use the money to pay for concert tickets this summer.
I want to sell the whole package, but I guess I could split up stuff if I had to. Can anyone give me a reasonable estimate of what this should be sold for? I am not much of a gamer. I just play when i feel like skipping homework!
I could also trade this for audio equipment. I need a USB midi keyboard, a condenser mic, a guitar that isn't broken, a mixer, a firewire recording device, a legal version of Reason 2.5 or 3.0, Logic Express, Ableton Live, or whatever else y'all might have laying around that seems like it might be useful for making trance and industrial music! Let me know.
