Hey i have the retail version of the game for my PB, but all my friends have the demo, dose any1 here play the newer demo on thier mac, i can't seem to find the DL site, not test 2. Or dose any1 here know if i can play people in demo servers with an mod for my full version copy, thanks.

I hope some 1 knows what i am trying to say and can help me :(

Here try this...I dont' know what other multi demos there are for RTCW on the mac.

As far as the mods...I don't know if they will work, since the coding for the retail vs. the demo version may be different. Let me know.

I've looked pretty good for anything over test 2 ( I read your previous post wrong....I didn't know you could find 2). are your freinds on PC's???? If so, that's maybe why they have a new multi demo (the one with trenchtoast). And if they ARE on a mac, and you are certain this demo exists...why not ask them for it?? I believe aspyr quit doing demos once the retail got released...and everyone has been busy with the new 1.41 upgrade.

thanks for the effort, i really mean it, i searched for an hour or so to no avail before i posted here. My friends are on PeeCee's other wise yes i would have asked them, i wasn't certain that the demo existed for macs but tought i would give it the ole college try too bad o well.

Okay I have a question this time instead of a half-hazzard rant about CS.

I installed RTCW, and then patched it with the 1.41 Beta update.

WHen I hit "Refresh" on the multiplayer screen it doesn't bring up a single thing. I'm on a lan, and I'm posting here, so it's not my connection.

ANyone have any thoughts?
