I am selling my imac in order to get one of the new powerbook 17". I have a really sad story to tell. I was one of the people scammed on ebay by Teresa Smith aka ShadowSB. I tried to purchase a desktop system from her in march last year for $2400. I got nothing but a bad refund check from her. She is going to prison now and I have no hope for ever seeing that money again. Luckily I had a little more money lying around so I bought my 15" Imac in April 02. The Imac has served me well but my business requires me to be more mobile now and since the new powerbooks have a superdrive, that is what i need. My Imac comes with 512mb upgrade to the RAM. It has tons of software loaded on it although I want to keep all the disks and stuff for my next machine. It has Final Cut Pro 3.0, DVD Studio Pro 1.5, Toast, Quicktime Pro 5, Jaguar 10.2. I paid $1800+tax for it and $300 to upgrade RAM. If you add that to the $2400 I lost that makes this one of the most expensive Imacs ever purchased. Grand Total of $$4500 .I'll take $1500 obo.
