Can someone please explain the word "tsunami" and what it has to do with wireless networks and/or war chalking.
I had read an article about war stuff (Wirless stuff) and had noticed tha people drive around the place with their laptops scanning the place.
I tred it out with no intentions on using and noticed their was a couple of networks, although seperated by a distance, named the same.
Such as tsunami, which I found out at a residential area, and another tsunami near La Trobe Library (Melbourne, AUS), both vendored by Cisco-Aironet.
Also another 3 named default with uknown vendors.
What does this all mean?
Also, how does an iBook pick up signals, as it would be moving along, does the AirPort card seek out the stations or do the sations say hello to the iBook.
As I said I had no intention on war chalking but you never know...
