Hey, I read the article about widescreen CoD, and I wondered if there is a similar way to do that on Star Wars Battlefront. In summary: How do you get battlefront to be widescreen (at 1680 by 1050 size)?

I think that holding down the shift key while starting the app will do the trick, this works with lego star wars for me and they were both made by Aspyr.

They were ported by Aspyr, not made.
I don't think BF can run in widescreen mode, I tryed to launch it with holding command/option keys, no menu poped up. Have to try shift though

In jedi academy you have to open a console and type
seta r_customwidth "yourscreenres"
seta r_customheight "yourscreenres"
seta r_ mode-1
to get widescreen

shift doesn't work. I haven't tried the other shortcuts, though,

BTW, how do you enable the console in Battlefront?

There is none. You can try edit the vidmode.ini file. Just control click battlefront and hit open package-then go contents>resources>data>lvl_pc>vidmode.ini. It is advised that you keep a backup of this, just in case something goes wrong. Here, type in (at the top, below the first line) 1680 1200 0 0 1 continue to do this above all lines that read 1280 1024 and type the numbers accordingly:
