Yes, I know this is a long shot on a Mac Forum. :)

I'm looking to get another RC car to fool around with. I think I want a Nitro (gas) one this time, but I don't really want to buy a new one. I've driven nitro's before and they're really fun, but I'm not knowledgeable enough to just go to the store and drop a ton of $ on one.

Hoping someone here has a cheapish one they're done messing with that I could buy and have my share of fun with it. Truck, car, or buggy, doesn't really make a difference to me, but I would probably prefer a buggy or truck so I can drive it in the grass too.

I can probably offer some Mac stuff in a trade if you're interested, but I was thinking I would just buy it, so that's fine too.

I really hope someone has one!

Ryan

I have an electric one that I am more than willling to part with. Unfortunately all my nitro gas ones are either destroyed by now or put to very good use. I have built numerous cars and if no one has one to sell, I would be more than willing to build you one. I didn't know if you were just worried about assembly or about which parts to buy or if its just plain cash. The electric are pretty fun still, they are very fast and take a lot less maintanice. I have a RC Micro with two bodies, Corvette and Murcielago. Let me know if you are interested.

Cash is a big part of the deal, but the reason I don't want to just go buy one is that I'm not like super into these things, but I like to drive them often. I don't *need* some $400 top of the line thing. A used something would be awesome.

I have a battery Dodge Viper which is pretty fast, hence my preference of a truck next.

I'm definitely interested in the electric one though.

Is building one a lot cheaper than buying a pre-assembled one?

Oh, do you have AIM/iChat that we could talk over? If you do, give me an IM, my sn is "itas0r".

You're too kind. :p

But, if anyone else wants an R/C car made for them, I'd love to help you out.
