This is the new D2 Drive. It is a 120GB Firewire hard drive at 7,200 RPM. It has a 2MB buffer. Retail is 269 + tax + shipping.
I am selling this one for $230 and I will take care of shipping.
It is great, new, only used for one month or so. I just don't need it. I have a new PowerMac that has 2x60GB internals, and I don't need the 120.
Let me know if you are interest.

Oh, yea it is. Man, have you never seen the LaCie D2's? This is an awesome drive. When I had the 17" iMac I ran the OS off that drive because it was faster than the internal drive.

ahh, if it's in an enclosure, then it's not such a bad price... i don't have the need though... someone should snag it up... there's always ebay...

I have one of these, they're quite nice. If I hadn't just bought one from b2tm recently, I'd snag this one myself.

I'd grab it in a second... but I don't have the cash right now.. I just did a round of musical drives yesterday.. now my PCI G4 has a 120GB and 80GB drive inside : ) (80GB for my tunes.. over 3 months of play according to iTunes)...
But I could really go for that firewire drive for doing dv on my TiBook 800!! I'm stuck using a 60GB USB drive(USB2.0) for it now.. unfortunately I don't have USB 2.0.. or a USB 2.0 card for my TiBook.. besides.. I have a cisco wifi card in my cardbus slot (damn that poor airport reception!)
okay.. i've vented now. Damn you for tempting me!!! haha :D

Wow, I almost bought one of those this morning from macmall or whatever it's called. Good thing I didn't.
I'm calling you now.

(edit) SOLD!
I was just telling BTTM that I had a 5-10gig hard drive in my old pc that I never came close to filling, but have already filled up 50 gig on my TiBook.
Why? Because macs are so damn easy to use. I'm a total loser moron when it comes to some of the complicated stuff, but with the mac, I'm video editing, working with music, all sorts of stuff that I would never have done before. It's incredible the stuff I can do with this thing. The only drawback, is I need the extra drivespace!
Thanks BTTM!
