I saw a thread on this a while ago, but I figured time to start fresh. What are you favorite movies? Do you have any favorite director/producer/actor?
Here's mine:
Movies - Pink Flamingos, Dr. Strangelove, Clerks, Hard Day's Night and A Clockwork Orange. The Graduate was good too.
Directors - Krubrick, John Waters
Producer - ?
Actor - Peter Sellers
Notice any parallels in there? :D :p

just copied from my IMDb list. this is what i would rate them /10.
i have a lot of favorite actors/actresses, strengths in different areas. it's hard to rate art forms as 'favorite', i just enjoy some people more than others. it would be easier for me to say who i don't like because i like so many directors/actor/actresses styles.

Yeah it is a great movie. It has great cinematography considering how little plot there actually is to the movie. Eric Serra did the music for it and the two main songs (the ones that christopher lambert's character writes and has the band play.

sadly my parents sheltered me from anything with the R rating up until a few years ago. so most of my favorite films i discovered within the last few years. damn shame, most good movies are rated R.

Man I love Tenebaums, I'll probably have to wtch it today. Anything reminds me of that movie is great and makes me want to see it again. I'm with you on almost all of your choices too, and the others I just haven't seen yet. Used to have a Film professor named Spiegel in Boston, wierd, huh?

A Clockwork Orange still holds a place in my heart. :-)
I liked Vanilla Skies too.. and Clerks, haha.
I haven't really seen a lot of movies though, so I do not have a good list or anything, but Full Metal Jacket, and most any Kubrick film (except the Shining) are simply amazing.
