Want to buy an AGP graphics card

Hey guys,
I need a graphics card that works in a sawtooth. Must be AGP 2X or modded to work in a 2X AGP slot. I dont mind if its a flashed PC card. Must be MINIMUM 64MB. I can pay $75 plus anything on the list below:

1. MINT Blue Nintnedo DS with mario kart, fifa 06 and wario ware touched.
2. Part from a powermac 7500
3. 604e 233mhz processor
4. PAL Gamecube with games, controlers and accesories
5. 3.2 MP Digital camer with 16mb internal and 256 on an SD card, comes with a case and original boxes.
6. Dreamcast controller
7. SoundSource Equalizer
8. NAD CD player
9. Pentium 3 MoBo with AGP and 533mhz processor
10. TI-89 Graphic calculator.
11. 500MHZ G4 processor from a sawtooth
12. 16mb AGP Rage pro card
13. Working 10 GB micro drive pulled from a 3G iPod

I have a ATI Radeon 9600 w/ 128MB DDR for sale. It was pulled from my Power Mac G5, so I am not sure that it would work in your computer Patmian212. :)

I have a 32 meg that came out of a dual 867. I know its not quite 64.

wont work, 9600's are 4x + only.

get a flashed 9800 pro, heck you could flash it yourself if you have a second mac or pc to VNC into your mac, no hardware mods required.

4x most of the time will do just fine in a 2x slot, Give ATi a call or email them but i think the 4 agp 9600 they sell for G4s will do just fine sitting in your Sawtooths 2 agp slot. Im sure we have some folks here who have taken their sawtooths up to a modern present day card.

I believe Hector is 100% correct... the 9600 Pro card will not work in the Sawtooth. This is the same reason there are no 9600 Pro cards for Cubes (again a 2x AGP bus).

Follow up with a question at the StrangeDog Forums, those guys know their stuff.

Hector seems to know his video card info, I would venture not to bet against him :)

No problem. Like I said, I am not sure if my video card is compatible with your G4. The card is 8x AGP and I am not sure if it is backwards compatible. But if it is, it would probably be a very nice upgrade for your machine. :)

Well dmw007 after much research I found out there is no way your card will work in my sawtooth so I am unfortunatley no longer interested, sorry.

Still looking for a decent AGP card that will work in a sawtooth, lets see what you people got.

Yup its definitley a bummer dmw007. So no one has a decent AGP card that will work in my sawtooth? I will bump my budget from 50 to $75 plus shipping.
