Getting the best deal on a new iMac

I have decided to stop sitting on the sidelines and get one of the new 17" iMacs.

Where can I get the best deal on the machine? The best way to find money I have found so far is to order from an online store in another state so I can avoid sales tax.

Do "deals" exist in the Mac world or do I just shell out the list price?

There are a lot of companies that will give you a printer or free ram or digi camera at reduced price so i would start looking at mac mall.macwarehouse,mac connection,mac zone etc and see who is giving the deal you want. Also make sure its the 1 giger that you are getting. The 17 is an awsome machine!
