Its seems like he wants money to tell you how to get education prices or wholesale.... But I'm not sure...

Yeah, it's a lame deal. And Apple will probably have to change the private store ID for whoever those prices are for.

Apple does verify orders for the special price stores.

EBay is full of too many scams and such at this point. Well as PT Barnum said... "There is a sucker born every minute."

Yeah, I have seen a lot of those...he is trying to sell information on how to get the ADC discount.

yet it is amazing how Ebay strives. I am astonished. It must be the case that the good transactions hugely outnumnber the bad ones or lame ones.
But I am still amazed. I have sold 3 items on Ebay (all of them for several hundred dollars) and it just worked. The other day I just sold my Dual 867 and the guy never even asked a question just won the auction and sent the money ! And I have no rating !! I just would never feel confortable. Protection for buyers I have the impression is very limited.
But I guess I will ship him my dual :)
