I just got my new PB in the mail :) and I have question. I am going to do a complete reformat with 10.2 and was going to partition and leave of OS 9 for now as this is my first mac. Although I cant seem to find an OS 9 install disk. Am I missing something or does it not come with one. If it doesnt what can I do about being able to install it at a later date. thanks in advance.

Just making sure you can have OS9 in there.
Most new machines don't come with a 9 install disk which sucks, but if you have any 9.1 CD you can upgrade it for free at the Apple support site. Go to 9.2.2.
Anyhow, if you are doing alot of 9 stuff then your partition may be bigger, but 5-8 Gigs usually houses 9 just great. Example 30GB drive: 25GB OSX and your stuff, 5GB OS 9 and it's apps.
When you do this, make sure you "zero all data" when you format the drive(s). It will take (way) longer, but will prevent future problems.
