materialism sucks...i only try to keep what i NEED...the rest, whenever possible, goes to charity and friends and if it is not worth it, it gets recycled
but my aunt gave us a fuzzy white, pink, and gold unicorn as a house gift, and i can't get rid of it since it would be rude
but it doesn't match anything!!!
hey y'all - tell me your clutter stories;)

I keep my desk clean, and my sister comes in to do 'homework'
and then clutters my desk while chatting. IT MAKES ME SO ANGRY!!!
 :D  :D

the key isn't keeping or not keeping things..its all in organization...i have a room-mate that doesn't have a whole lot when it comes to possesions but all his stuff is scattered all over the place and it looks like he's got just a ton of junk where as i have and keep tons of little knick knacks and little things but i have them in organized places so it looks like i hardly have anything.

My granddad was a pack rat. My parents are pack rats. I'm a pack rat.

"Pack rat" ? I could guess what it means, but still wouldn't be sure.

A pack rat is a person who collects things, and never throws anything away. My buddy has something like 4-5 lawn mowers, all broken. Why? He's going to fix them someday.
BTW, I myself am not a pack rat, but I do tend to clutter.

I plead guilty to being a pack rat, it is very difficult for me to throw things away. I do donate items to charity such as cpu, monitor, software, books, & clothing. I have all my income tax data going back to my 1st in 1966, financial records. Like to be neat, but my wife isn't and so to survive/tolerate I've sadly become more like her. Need to be in the mood to discard items, donate items, & to straighten up my desk. :(

I'm not a clutterbug. I am a "neat freak". I am very organized, and like to keep things neat.
