I'm selling a busted PowerBook 1400cs. It has a busted screen (looks like someone punched it - hard. But the backlight works perfectly...) yeah... moving on... the innards, it has a 133 MHz CPU, RAM of some sort (either 12 or 16 MB, toss a coin), and a 750 MB HD. I'm willing to bet that the CPU and the RAM works fine (I mean, the backlight did light up when I turned on the 1400cs, and the screen does this freaky *flinch* thing just when the sad Mac should appear... more on that one soon...), but the HD, well, no guarantees. It wouldn't boot when I tried it in my other 1400cs, I got a error/sad Mac. But it might be just a software error, and you can wipe and install on that HD. But I've not got a clue. There's tons of screws missing on the aluminum plate that cover the CPU and RAM and expansion port and all that. But it holds, so what the hey, right? And the back flap, well, I salvaged that too. But hey, it comes with a power adapter too! Nevermind that crack, it works perfectly. I swear. Umm, oh, and that cable that goes from the power brick to the wall socket? Yep, I took that too. But! That's no problem! The plug is a standard power plug, just like that plug in standard PC power supplies! So steal that cable from the mother-in-law's crapola Dell! AND! It got a battery! Yeah, a good one, I got a good hour of staring at the freaky colors with a fist in the middle of it! Sweet stuff! Oh, and a floppy drive! No clue if it works, but if it doesn't... I'm including a second one! Two can't fail, right?!
But hey! It has a clear slipcover! That gotta count for something right? (shuffles to block view of scratches on said slipcover...) So how about it?!
$15 SHIPPED!
