If you're in NYC and would like to purchase outside of ebay, I'm happy to discuss it. I've included a description below.

I have for sale a near mint 12” Powerbook G4.

This model has:
-the latest 1.5 Ghz processor
-60 GB hard drive
-DVD/CDRW optical drive
-UPGRADED to 768MB of Ram for speedy processing

Here is a direct copy of the “About this Mac” information:
Machine Name: PowerBook G4 12"
Machine Model: PowerBook6,8
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (1.2)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 1.5 GHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB
Memory: 768 MB
Bus Speed: 167 MHz
Boot ROM Version: 4.9.0f0
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled
Version: 1.0

It will support screen spanning on a second monitor for extended work space via either DVI or VGA interface. Included are adaptors for either type of monitor. It can be used in clamshell mode with only the external monitor, or it can be kept open for dual monitor use.

It comes with all of the original packaging and discs. I will also include a fitted neoprene sleeve to keep it safe while you travel, as well as a DVI to mini-DVI adapter and a VGA to mini-VGA adapter (these accessories are worth a quick $70). I will perform a clean install of Tiger (it originally came with Panther) and include the Microsoft office suite on the computer as well.

The computer is in nearly mint condition. The only exception being the latch button on which the bright silver finish is wearing slightly (as seen in the picture below) as well as a few very minor scratches on the bottom of the casing. THE LATCH STILL CLOSES WITH NO PROBLEM. Those are the only "issues" on this machine, cosmetic or otherwise. It has never had any warranty work done or been to an apple tech for any reason.

The only reason that I’m selling it is that I need to switch to a 15” for a little extra space while on the road.

It was originally purchased on 4/22/05, and therefore has a few more days of applecare eligibility. Take advantage quickly if you’d like to get applecare or if you’d like to get the latch button checked under warranty. If you want to purchase applecare for this computer, I will do everything I can to facilitate your purchase. Once I have received payment, I will forward you all of the pertinent information via email so that you can apply applecare before the computer runs out of eligiblily. The computer is sold AS-IS. If you want to utilize the last few days of the warranty, or if you want to purchase applecare, please consider the buy-it-now function.

Please email me with any questions before bidding. I’d be happy to answer them for you.
