After partitioning where do these go?

I decided to partition mainly because I'm new to Mac and it seemed like a cool thing to do.

Everything is working fine. My question is...

Where do you put flash, shockwave etc. Can these go to my new large partition or do they have to go into the OSX partition. Do I have to have a certain folder name if not going into OSX?

Also, can I take most of my apps and utils in osx (except the i-ones) and move them to the other part?

keep all your data in one partition, and all your system stuff in the other.

You can move most of your Apps (except apple ones) out from the Applications folder and to anywhere you want to but I would keep all the apps in the Applications folder.

You could move the Applications folder onto the other partition and update the change in NetInfo but that can be a bit tricky.
