Perhaps I'm very ignorant, but its certainly not a regular computer power supply cord with three holes on one end and a three-prong plug at the other

I figured it must be something a bit exotic, but if I knew what it is I might have one lying around, and I and others would be more apt to buy it.

Maybe I I'm missing something :)
