Will I be able to run 1.6 cs (the older version) on a mini, stock via bootcamp? Will more ram make a large difference? thanks

The system requirements google gives me is a 133 MHz Pentium for minimum, around 300 recommended.

While I'm not sure how good the integrated graphics card is, I'd imagine it should have no problem handling a game with such low requirements.

Though I don't have an Intel Mac so I couldn't tell you.

integrated graphics won't hinder you too much- original CS is largely a processor intensive game (based on a decade old engine). Best way to know is to just try it out! good luck- it's an awesome game.

It's the name given to the original CS mod of HL1. People call it "1.6" b/c it is an easy way to differentiate from CS:Source. 1.6 is basically the last patch for the original CS.

Yeah, Half Life runs like a dream on a Rage Pro Turbo. It'll be more then playable on the GMA950 in all flavors and mods.

I'm testing CS 1.6 on my Core Solo right now, and getting 40-60 FPS. Runs great from what I can tell :)

Ok. All those acronyms are starting to confuse me. :D I'm starting a new guide:

Feel free to add to it.

Might want to mention the terms MMORPG, GRAW, THUG, THAW, WoW, etc...
