My old trusty LG VX4400 is starting to give up the ghost and I would like to purchase one to replace it. Problem is every new phone Verizon has out is out of my price range and I'm not signing up for a two year agreement to save a few bucks.
So I am looking for a Verizon capable phone that is in decent condition and will last me until I become gainfully employed after next week's graduation. All I ask is that the phone is cheap (I couldn't afford to go over maybe 40-50 shipped), works and is hopefully a little newer than my LG is.
Thanks

I would assume the data cable is the one that doesn't totally screw up the phone (it has the little conversion block on it)? And is the charger the block charger that the whole phone slides into? I'd love to see some pics.
And as a side question, what sorts of information were you able to transfer to and from the phone? I was always looking at getting a cord but I didn't know if it would be worth the price.

Mostly ringtones, and to copy or repace the adress/phone book, but there was a way to use the handset as a modem -But I didnt want to mess up the phone too badly so I never did that stuff. It does have the block thingie on the cable.
I cant remember what the charger looks like.
And you can take the phone to any verizon store (I know the orem,Ut one for sure) and they can 'flash' the phone so its back to factory settings again.

Not to hurt mxlews sale or anything, but leftbanke7, be careful with trying to activate old phones with Verizon. If they don't have that "911 can see where you're calling from" thing, Verizon will give you an extremely hard time about activating it, and for me, it took hours when I tried to switch my account to an old phone temporarily. Some stores are now even saying they're not allowed to do it without a huge fee.
