Sims 2 Universal patch AVAILABLE

Okay, so this is the first time I've noticed that the patch was available.

Sims 2 page at Aspyr (http://www.aspyr.com/games.php/mac/10880/)
Click "The Sims 2 Universal Binary Update MacGameFiles."

That's a very small, not very noticable alert that the Sims 2 is Universal now.

Does anyone know how long the patch has been available?

Aspyr really needs to make a bigger notice than a small block of text that the Sims 2 is now Universal.
I guess now I can buy the Sims 2 then! (Well, I could've bought it before, it would just be really slow.)

Edit: I Googled it, and MacMinute made an article on April 13 about it. So I guess it came out on April 13 (or 12).

Yeah, I figured that out, but yeah.

It still irritates me how they didn't do much to tell people about the patch.
