Does anyone know if the Academic version of Word X is full-featured and just cheaper, or if it's a slimmed-down version?

I do freelance indexing for professors at my college, and am considering investing in Word or Office (bleh) for my new iMac. Just can't seem to find a "Test Drive" Academic version. (I guess the above question applies to Office v.X Academic, too)

TIA.

In Norway it's the same CD. The only difference is the serial number and the Academic tag on the box. Whats really cool, is the fact that Microsoft in Norway sells the academic license to private persons as well. So all Mac users can get a copy for $119, while Windows users has to fork out $499!!! :D

I purchased the whole suite for $199 at my university compared to the $499. For Microsoft's faults, at least they offer competitive discounts at universities.
