Finally got my iPod settlement credit, but cash is more valuable right now. You can use the discount on any Apple-branded Hardward and software, excluding iTunes products.

Looking for $42.

I'd love it if you'd give me a week, but I doubt you'll do that.

Daniel.

I can see if it's possible to cancel the transfer or your money from my PayPal if you want to swap this for the cash you gave me. That's assuming I can use this towards the purchase of Applecare.

How does this credit transfer?
Can I use it in store or just online?

Since I was talking with Bob about it earlier, I'll answer this at least a little bit until he gets back.
He can give you the code so you can use it instantly online. It's useable there or at Apple retail kiosks, but not at brick-and-mortar Apple stores (and if you use it online you can't use any educational discount). You can use it on any Apple branded hardware or software, but not the iTMS.
Maybe I've missed something, but I believe those are the highlights.

After reading the fine print, here's how I understand the terms (I'm not a lawyer):

-Discount is redeemable at Apple's Online store, at a Retail kiosk (probably the computers in the Apple Store), and on the Sales hotline (NOT for purchases from a brick-and-mortar Apple Store).

-Discount only applies to Apple-Branded hardware and software, excluding iTunes products (not sure what that means for purchasing AppleCare).

-Discount must be exhausted in a single transaction, though you can use it to apply to more than one item.

-Discount is one-time transferable (so I can sell it).

The discount credit is a code that you enter during purchase or give to a sales rep on the phone. I have detailed instructions on how to use it.

I will give you the code once you tender payment.

Thanks bdm. Likewise, you can't use it in conjunction with the Developer discount or the Reseller discount.

Thanks. Unfortunately I was hoping to give you my $42 and I'd buy ilife 06 with it. I mean either way I get ilife right? But I have a $20 gift card and my edu discount, which I intend to use.
Thanks anyway, I appreciate the great info.

Can this be used with an edu discount? I've been thinking of ordering a Nano for some time now, and if I could combine this with the discount I might go for it.
