I was wondering if there is a Mario game for mac(free)? If there is please post and link me to it. I'd like it to be downloaded, not online.

There are no free official ones, but if you have an Intel iMac (judging by your name) then I can only suggest installing Boot Camp and downloading Mario Forever. Made by someone from an old game making community I was in, very good game.

I recall playing a Mario card game at one point back in the day on my Mac. Go Fish with Mario characters, etc.

Yeah, and a Mario checkers game. The bad guys play as koopas, and when they turn king, they turn into Bowser. The good guys play as baby Yoshis that turn into adult Yoshis when kinged.
I think the game is Mario's Game Gallery.

Mario Teaches Typing was AWESOME. I owe my 110-WPM record to it.

Playing supertux is fun,
but it is still not the same as playing some good ol' Mario. :o :)

I'd just download some emulators and play NES or SNES Mario Games.
I still love SMB3 and SMBW.

Yeah, before actual keyboarding class, I owed my awesome hunt-and-peck skills to it (well, maybe: all I wanted to do was play Mario:D .).
