Can I delete my limewire shared folder even though it has lot of my music in it? When you download an mp3, does it not transfer to your iTunes folder for storage? What I am asking is if I can get rid of my shared folder and not lose some of my music i downloaded? Thanks in advance!!!

If you go to your limewire shared folder and play the song through iTunes at least once, it is in your iTunes music library. DO NOT erase the song out of your shared folder if it hasn't been played in iTunes. Other than that you're fine.

use command line to "mv" all the files from the shared directory to you iTunes directory...

eliminates any unnecessary copies...
