a nintendo racer for wii being demonstrated at e3! the article specualtes at a return for excite bike but what about wave race or mario kart? it also states, "We're going to show off a racing game at E3 where you use the core controller in a very different way." My bet is that you hold it in 2 hands and use it like a steering wheel.

I have always liked the game play on a nintendo. A racing game like this will be perfect for thier controller.

next week... May 10-12. (actually May 9-12 because there will be "pre-E3" press confrences...) i'm so excited i can hardly stand myself! (i think even more excited then the days befor an Apple Special event... but that's questionable.) :)

He's the same guy who posted a (quick) good review about a game that was itself was posted by someone who has 1 post. Combined with this it makes me wary of him/them

well a racer could in the case of nintendo mean a lot of different things...
it could either mean
f-zero: can be show case graphically but i guess it will come later
mario cart: unlikely as a launch title
wave race: can be showtitle in terms of power and gameplay
excite bike (sp?): skipped the gamecube afaik... so a new one is overdue

my guess is on waverace .. it always have been a (nearly) start title and can leave the big racing guns for later

but if they are making a new racing game i would guess it would involve more real cars since actually that's the only kind of racing they don't have really covered by themselves
