So, I was at Nintendo.com and found this
(http://www.nintendo.com/newsarticle?articleid=T8g6n2c1hqhQU6dUPNVunTkcB5Nfr43t&page=) article, apparently the capital letters are all some kind of code...
ubjqlcneqarefjngbgurpbqrohglbhjvyyunrgbjvggbsvaqbgnogjvvbagbh is what i got out of it... Does it make sense to anybody? Maybe there really is something important there but they made it hard to prevent people from trying to find it. Anybody with a background in cryptology?

Man, if this doesn't light the internet on fire, I don't know what will.

Someone at Gamefaq's already cracked it:

"Howdy pardners way to crack the code but you will have to wait to find out about wii won't you"

Let's hope it not one of those annoying bogus message like "Be Sure to Drink your Ovaltine" ^_^

Yep, I can confirm... it's a super simple cypher. For anyone wanting to try it out themselves, it looks like the OP left out a few letters. You may want to go to the article and find the capitals yourself.

I heard about this a few hours ago.

Basicly, just replace each letter in the alphabet with one that is 13 letters away, and it is decoded.

Good old ROT 13? Some text editors even have a function for that.

I know .. this game has definitely caught my attention. Whether or not it did so well enough to get a DS...well.... I really, really want one. But I have anger issues related to WPA vs. WEP that prevent me from buying one right now. :(

OK. The puzzle is solved. Now the only question remaining is: Should I go kick the author in the nuts for playing such a cheap trick on us? :D And to think it's a Nintendo approved trick.

No kicking in the nuts. This is Nintendo...they only produce wholesome, family-oriented games. If you want, you may jump up in the air with your fist raised, slamming into the bricks upon which the author is standing, sending him flying into the air, only to land upside down. Naturally, a second jump on top of him will cause him to go careening forward, destroying blocks and releasing coins in his path.

Supply me the name, I'll look for him at E3 *evil laugh*

Okay, the full code:

Nintendo has just posted an E3 press release with a hidden meaning. Literally. Among the press relase, upper case letters are dispersed seemingly at random. The release promises that the code will deliver the secrets of E3. Unfortunately, it comes up flat.

The stream of uppercase letters is "UBJQL CNEQAREF JNL GB PENPX GUR PBQR OHG LBH JVYY UNIR GB JNVG GB SVAQ BHG NOBHG JVV JBAG LBH ABN EHSHF" which using a cryptology method know as ROT-13 (replaces each letter by its partner 13 characters further along the alphabet) is decrypted to "HOWDY PARDNERS WAY TO CRACK THE CODE BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT TO FIND OUT ABOUT WII WONT YOU NOA RUFUS".

Anyone consider the fact they might have been clever enough to encrypt two messages in there? A trivial bogus one, and the real one?

Ug, I am going to pretend that I didn't read that. I do NOT have time to hunt through that message for hidden clues.

If anyone needs me I'll be over at Nintendo's site...
