Hey guys,
I know not very many of you knew me, but I met some pretty cool friends on these threads and talk to them. I got lots of help and helped out lots of other people. This is probably where I spend most of my time on the web. I just recently signed my NDA with Apple and now I am leaving. Not because I have to but I feel its better. I know from now on Ill be tempted to say things that I can't and it will drive me crazy. I will continue to read the threads, just not post. It's been great and I was really looking forward to getting my 1000 posts, but thats ok. So long macrumors, and watch out what you post, the wrong person may be reading.

This may be a stupid question, but what is an NDA?

An NDA is a nondisclosure agreement and the reason why a lot of people are getting fired from Apple.
It states that you can't disclose certain information to people not under an NDA, which is more than half of the people on Macrumors.
Everyone from Steve on downwards has to sign one, including Apple Developer Connection members. Then you have to sign it sometimes when you test a beta or something.

OK, thanks. I thought that it was something like that, but I wasn't sure.

Well I thought long and hard about this. Especially talking to some of my friends. I feel like my decision wasnt really necessary. Although its only been like a couple of days, its been real boring reading these forums and not posting. mainly just people with problems that i know i can answer. So i guess what I'm saying is that I couldnt take it. I just have to take into consideration what i say and just keep the respect i have for apple and apply it to this forum. plus i couldnt ignore the fact that i was so close to 1000 posts.

good to see your going to stick around, just because the site is based on rumors doesnt mean you have to add to them, there's plenty of other stuff going on with the boards right?
just dont be a snitch for apple.....
heh.
