Well I bought the 30gb with every intention of just using it for music however I've started transferring loads of DVD's across to it and I'm thinking I wish I'd gone for the 60gb instead, so I'm looking to trade my 30gig white for someone's 60 gig white. Willing to throw some cash in to even it up.
I am UK based.

Condition? I have a white 60 I might be interested in trading.

Condition of mine?
Spotless - only had it a week or two and always had a case on it and screen protector on the screen.
Would like 60gig to be in similar condition.

OK. I've had mine since October - but it's had a protector on it the whole time and lived in the case that comes with it :o (I'm very protective...so nothing of note on it)
It does have an engraving of "think different" on the back - I think you'll be able to live with that. How much are you offering in cash - the difference is £80 on the store.

Ah ideally I'm looking for one without any engraving - can I wait and see if anyone else comes back on this one for a bit please?

Yeh sure...but still, Appley engravings are the geekiest (and thus best) *geeks out*

I have a 60gb which I thought I would use, and even though I have countless music video's movies and TV shows in iTunes, I never transfer them to my iPod.
it's a white one, had it since november, great condition, boxed with manuals n stuff. (has front and back shield stickers and a black skin (so it can be black or white!)
interested if you're still looking for a trade.
I could ship it for free through my work too (Manchester based)
lemmie know if you want to arrange a deal
Rick
Edited to add, no engraving on it.

Might be tempted, what sort of deal do you suggest? :)I have a set of the invisible covers coming in the post so I'd put them in too obviously :) Plus a little rubber case I have for it (quite nice and robust IMO)

well, there's an £80 difference in store price, so what do you say...about £55 and i'll chuck in a pair of official apple in ear headphones?

Sounds reasonable to me :) Few questions though
One - is paypal acceptable
Two - Do you have pictures? (I'll upload some of mine tomorrow - camera's at uni at the minute)
Three - any previous transactions on the board
Fourth - and least important - do you still have the little slip case it comes with?

One - Sadly, I don't use online payments (other than online banking) so either a postal payment (cheque or postal order, no cash) or a bank transfer would be fine.
Two - I have, head over to my flickr page here...http://www.flickr.com/photos/56614718@N00/ (just skip the puppy pics)
Three - as of today I have 2 pending transactions (not including this one)
Four - I do, it's a bit grubby (I used it before I got the case as I didn't want to get pod scratched) I can clean it up and send it along though.

1) Ok...doable I guess, I just worry about the lack of security I get from doing that a little. Nothing personal but it does leave me worried (personal bad experiences in the past that's all)
Four - Don't worry if it's a little grubby, mine'll be used as well so not a biggy :)

I totally understand your concern, if there's anything I can do to make you feel a little more comfortable with it let me know (like provide you some security details to prove i'm not upto anything)

Hm, it's tricky - it's not a case of not trusting you as a person, to put it in perspective it's a case of I bought something off of someone on another forum (for about £100) and sent the cheque, which was banked but the item never sent. Obviously after the cheques banked there was little I could do to dispute it...once bitten etc. I just need to figure out a way around it.

that sucks for you, can you not call your bank and have them claw it back? I'm with HSBC and usually for upto 30 days I can claw back a cheque payment.
anyway, again, I understand your concern and i'll leave it with you.
no hard feelings if you decide against it.

Unfortunately the bank was nothing but evasive on it.
Tell you what, my student loan still hasn't come in yet, so it'll be monday at least before it turns up (or so rumours has it) when that comes through I'll have a very serious think on this.

Hey, just wondered if the offer was still open - payday on Thursday see? ;) Also are the in ear headphones used at all? If they are I'll pass on them (I get ear infections so easy it's silly...)
