Does those Apple Video Adapters plug directly into the mini-VGA port? Or is it VGA-to-S-video?

Yup it works GREAT. I use mine all the time to watch movies and such on the TV...it's awesome.

yah it works, i have a G4 ibook, and one of those adaptors, looks great on my tv :) Only bad this is that it takes up the mini VGA slot, so when i want to use my monitor and Tv, i have to switch it back and forth.
