Doom 3 Release Date?

I heard that the release date for Doom 3 was in March of 03.
Can anyone confirm this?

...and couldn't find anything.

The *only* info I can get, and it's validity is dubious, is from the Amazon site, where they are taking early orders. They are showing a July 2003 release.

i was at id site the other day and nothing, I still have not heard details of the mac version? anyone know more about this????Also the Mac version Demo of UT2003 is about ready.
