I have a unopened iPod mini I want to sell to buy something bigger so I can carry all my music. I love the durability of the iPod mini though.

Recently my iPod mini's hard drive went. Applecare replaced it with a new one and it is still sealed in the wrapper. I also have Applecare which hasn't been activated yet, have until August 15 to do so. The warranty is therefore good until August 15 2007.

In addition to the original box, manuals, USB cable, headphones, belt clip, I also have a griffin airclick mini wireless remote and the official Apple mini Dock.

I'm looking for a reasonable offer that will help towards the purchase of a 60G.

All I know is refurb ipods are $140 now (no original box) + $50 Applecare + airclick $30 + dock $40 = $260 total.

So you want like $250 for an iPod mini?

I think Apple's refrub price puts a hard ceiling on the price you can ask for your iPod.
Your remaining 15 months of Apple care is about the same as the 12 month warenty you get with the refurb unit. Most buyers would prefer to buy direct from Apple and would do so if the price was the same but your Griffen stuff can sweeten the deal. I think you can get Apple's refurb price for your package. I would not expect to get more.

But try eBay. Some ideot there just bid $150 for a 4GB mini and that aution is not over yet. The seller is claiming his "Mini" has 60GB storage and does video. The sellers has a half dozen pictures of the iPod and none match (different models and colors) but still some guy pays $150. So who knows what you could really get for it eBay buyers can be pretty dumb.

Good call. I was hoping to get $200 for everything. But if not, I'll try ebay, you're right, it's amazing what people will pay on there. And if I'm not going to get my money out of the Applecare, I'll hold onto it for my next iPod.
