I don't know what these people were thinking. I just had to show you guys these iBooks. I got these pictures of spymac. hopefully im not the only one who thinks these people completly screwed up there ibooks.

That isn't a bad looking mod to your PB. A little bit of a darker blue would make it better, but that's opinion. What price are you selling it for?

Oh, I dunno, I have to figure finances on the 12 incher first. I wonder what the market will yeild? Its a good old thing, anybody got an idea for a good price?

I think that a painted-on-the-inside iBook could look very groovy, but the colours I've seen most people choose just makes them look awful. That leopard skin one is unbelievable. I'm still in complete shock over having to see that.

The one thing I've considered doing to my iBook is putting a sheet of translucent pink paper inside the apple, so as to have a pink glowing Apple logo :cool: -- and for good measure: :eek:

Personally If people like their iBook that way they should change it like that. I would not mod mine like that but if they want to its their 999+ machine to personalize to their harts desire....To me its like all these people with "mustang racing" stickers on their car when they are running a stock GT and they think they are all bad... if they want it tho, its their car and in the end they ruined their stuff not mine.

Did anyone see the wooden veneer TiBook that was around last year? A beautiful job of veneering with mahogany and Wenge, looked stunning till you realised it was a TITANIUM POWERBOOK:eek:

Why cover the best looking laptop in the world (at the time) with wood?

I think the Tron iBook is cool.

I've always liked the idea of customising cases, but Apples designs are generally soooo cool you wouldn't want to ****** with them. PC's? now there's another matter...:D

the purple one is simple and ok to look at, but the spotted one is terrible

a black ibook would look nice with the white apple logo

I agree that is awesome. That custom work is very appealing! Apple might want to think about using something similar for their logo, introduction fo the PPC 970 would be a god time! ;)

But I thought all these iBook and TiBook mods looked cool. The purple metallic wasn't my thing, but I wouldn't mind sporting the Jaguar one if it didn't void the warranty, which I'm sure it does.

Those people worked hard on their laptops. You shouldn't be calling them ugly in a public forum like this I think. If I were them I'd be kinda pissed.
