I urgently need a 85W (MBP) MagSafe on Saturday morning. It's crazy to imagine that anyone in Milton Keynes, UK would have one and be prepared to sell it for £40, but if you do please post here ASAP!

Ah MK, not too distant memories of concrete cows and the snow-zone. :p

You could try John Lewis or PC World, they're both Apple resellers and usually have stock. They may have a power-unit to sell. Perhaps call them in advance and plead with them! Good luck.

Tried both, as well as Core Solutions Limited in Leighton Buzzard (or however the heck you spell it). All can get them in, but not by tomorrow :(

And forget the concrete cows and the snow-dome for a minute, it's the fact that we have the most beautiful city in the country and an awesome sub-culture that isn't retarded and has a low percentage of chavs, gophs, greebos and emos that counts.

I take it you can't get away with a quick battery charge at one of those places to tide you over?

I lived in Leighton-B for ~17-years, worked in MK for 8 of those.. it was the final 5-years commuting to London most days and the general traffic build-up that moved us to Canada.

MK's a reasonable place to live and work, bit 'new' for some, it has it's good n' bad like most other places. MK's full of shoppers though..

Living in Leighton Buzzard doesn't count, sorry :( We're in Caldecotte at the moment and moving to Monkston Park (you probably won't know it, only a few months okd, but near Monkston and Kingston). Awesomeness :) A battery charge won't do I have 9 hours I need it on Monday :(

Buy a new battery? How ever i don't know if they come charged..but if they do..also it would cost more $$$ but if you have to...
