Bad Buyer Alert! Do not do business with PaRaGoNViCtiM

I just wanted to put out a general warning on this one. I sold a PowerBook 15" to PaRaGoNViCtiM around this time last year. We had an agreement that she would pay $1200 up front and $300 a month later. It has been a year and many many many false promises later and I have not received the $300. Do not do business with this person as she has proven to be untrustworthy. Until I get my remaining $300, I have offically been had by PaRaGoNViCtiM. It is sad to see people like this hurt the MR Marketplace.

Yeah, I noticed that as well. She always made excuses about how she had no money yet she was always buying new computers and accessories instead of keeping her commitment to me. If something did happen to her that is unfortunate but she had many opportunities before this to pay.

It seems that this may be the case. I remembered her name because I was thinking of doing buisness with her about a year ago, so I added her screename to my list, she's never on anymore. Also she posted frequently on another forum that I go to sometimes, and she doesn't even seem to be regestered there anymore. Did she give you a phone number or anything like that? This is sorta weird. :confused:

I found something rather interesting.

If you look at that picture^ the name typed is the username of a newbie here with a 12" PowerBook. Doesn't look like she has your PowerBook anymore. Exile means to be barred or banned. She has blonde hair in her Flickr pictures. I don't know. I'm thinking PaRaGoNViCtiM might has become ExileInBlonde.

Agreed! This is some very unethical practice going on here by this user. What is sad is that this user kept saying she had family and medical issues that prevented her from paying... but then I had a medical issue in Feb and needed the money and didn't have it. I even asked for it multiple times back then and she said she was sending it... :cool:

I see no reason to post a lot of personal information about another member, bad record or not. Information about bad dealings will be left, personal information is going to be removed. I'm sorry about the bad deal, but posting personal information about another member, particularly in this light, is not allowed.

I will, however, look into the connection to ExileInBlonde.

PaRaGoNViCtiM is not ExileInBlonde, and PaRaGoNViCtiM did, in the end, finally pay what was owed.
