I was going to get one myself, but decided my money could be better spent on something else. but anyhow , i looked on ebay for one and they have one that is being sold in the UK

I'm not so sure that the EyeTV EZ is the best option for what you want to do. Part of the problem with the EZ is that it does nothing for hardware encoding in the unit. So your computer is gonna have to encode it or you risk having massive files. You might want to consider the EyeTV 250 which will encode your programs. Just a thought.
